Experience with Horses

I have been in love with horses, riding and caring for them for roughly 14 years, It has always been a dream job of mine to work with them and be able to grow my passion and knowledge too for horses, as there is always room for improvement. I have recently finished college and completed a Level 2 Equine course which I am happy to attach photos of my qualification certificates if need be, where I achieved distinctions in both theory and practical and also passing my health and safety exam with a great 100% score.

Key Skills

working alone, working with others, plaiting, turning in/out, handling, handling/riding young horses, poo picking, mucking out.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

Getting to be with an animal I have loved all my life, whether it be on foot or on the horses back. Growing a bond with the horses I work with and being able to see them thrive.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

My knowledge and skills on certain topics such as clipping and pulling/trimming etc.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

It has been a dream job of mine since I was little to work with horses, I am very patient but also a quick learner and am willing to go above and beyond for the right thing and people.
