Experience with Horses
I studied at derby college equestrian centre for 3 years. I achieved a silver award in level 1 horse care, level 2 horse care i achieved a distinction* and level 3 horse management first year i achieved a merit. I have worked on livery yards in the past, loaned horses and i would go to college in the 6 weeks holiday as i would miss the horses to much! We had commitments to do work experience at college on a weekend. I have ridden for 8 years on different horses with different skills and personalities (riding school, loaned horses, college horses, livery horses) .
Key Skills
I can muck out to a good standard and do other stable duties to a good standard. I can work independently or in a group. I follow instructions and i’m a good listener. I will just get on with the job and make sure everything is finished to a good standard before leaving. I can tack up, groom, bath and turn in/out safely. I have a passion for caring for the horses, and making sure there safe.

– Caring for them, plaiting them, pampering them, loving them and making sure they have a clean environment and safe atmosphere.

– my speed (my anxiety makes me breathless)

– i care for horses and make sure they have a good standard set to make sure there happy and comfortable.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
– gain my fitness and speed back. I would like to do stable duties, feeding, grooming well behaved horses as i struggle with anxiety so would like something calm, plaiting, pampering them and caring for them.
