Experience with Horses
Involved in animal husbandry since a very young age. Started riding in 1999. at a local Police Brigade. Studied at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade 2006-2019. graduated in December 2019. (Long studies due to private/financial situations).
Experienced in handling horses of all ages and purposes.
Key Skills
I am good at working as a part of the team, but can handle the job on my own too. Very high standards of care, monitoring, management etc., no corner cutting mentality.
Can do everything around horses (lunge, double lunge, ride-flat, dressage, jumping), recognized degree as a trainer and judge (gained through the Faculty for sport and psychology-TIMS, Novi Sad, Serbia), DVM (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Belgrade, Serbia). Grooming to a high level (tacking up/down, turning out/in, rugging management, clip, plait, trim, etc.)
Strengths and Weaknesses
I love the challenge of accommodating each horse as an individual and getting to know their personalities
Compared to other 9-5 workers I am not afraid to stay a while longer to get the job done. Very high level of presentation is important, but the welfare of the horse always comes first
Requirements
I would love to find a steady, work/life balanced job, preferably without mucking out (back issues), accommodation included, with a possibility to bring a well behaved cat or 2 with me.
