I am currently the Estate Manager for a 340 stud farm situated in Cobham, Surrey. My main role is to manage the paddock upkeep and maintenance, livestock manage a small team, along with the day to day admin and project planning. Working at this stud has taught me a lot about equine husbandry and the start process of producing a race horse.
I have previously worked on other farms, this is useful as I can bring past agricultural experience into the management of the pastures and land of my current farm.
