Experience with Horses
I have owned and been around horses all my life. Grown up riding and hunting. I have worked on several types of yards including showjumping and eventing before finding my place primarily on hunting yards. I feel I work best on a private yard with a more one to one way with both horses and owners.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I am excellent at working alone, keeping a calm, organised environment. I can do all aspects or grooming, including clipping.
My riding is quiet yet firm and have a good natural understanding of the horse.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I like building a relationship with each individual and take a good sense of pride in looking after them and turning them out for a day on the hunting field.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to further my flatwork knowledge as even though my riding skills are of good level and can keep horses in good, fit working condition, I would like to know more of how to work correctly on the flat.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
My various different roles have allowed me to be able to slot into a pre existing routine on a family style yard. I will keep things clean and organised as well as keeping the horses like my own.

Like to be in sole charge (alongside owners) of hunters as I feel I am best suited to this way of working
