Experience with Horses
I grew up on a farm in Somerset. We always had livestock, including horses, ponies, cows, pigs, goats and dogs. I started riding at a very young age on my shetland pony and evented upto BE100 in my later teens. I spent my childhood years taking part in all pony club activities and local unaffiliated events. I gained experience working on an event yard for a junior event rider, I have worked on a P2P yard and now assist at evenings and weekends on the livery yard where I keep my horse. I currently ride my horse and for other people on the yard.
Key Skills
I am good at working alone and within a team. I am self sufficient, work quickly and effectively to ensure tasks are complete in a timely manor. I am proactive and have good time management skills. I am confident at handling horses including youngstock and stallions. I can turnout horses to a high standard and maintain the highest level of care for the horses.

I love working with animals of all kinds and ensuring they are living in the best possible care. I also enjoy riding both competitively and for pleasure.

I would like to improve my plaiting skills.
