Strengths and Weaknesses
• I am a well-organised person who loves to keep the horses and working space safe, clean and looking welcoming and presentable at all times. It is important to me that the horse’s welfare is always a priority & that we strive to continue to improve our abilities to understand them. Enhancing our communication with them which nurtures handling them with respect and empathy in all situations.
• I struggle in environments where winning, pride or status cause owners to make decisions which are not in the best interest of the horses or create welfare concerns. If faced with these situations, I will politely raise my concerns and provide any help and support needed to make better choices for the horses.
• I have been devoted to horses for the majority of my life, a love which began at age two, I am now 45 and have had a wonderful & colourful career. I look now for a quieter life where my experience will be appreciated and helpful i wish to continue riding and I am very flexible to helping with areas such as management, PA, and child or young person support. i am happy to be part of family, farm, and community life. Yet I also value time & space for my practices and interests therefore independent accommodation (somewhere to make home) is important to me.
I love to be in a rural situation, and I am happy to drive if accommodation is off-site.
