Objective

Possessing a natural love for equines, is perhaps what makes me an excellent person to hire as a Seasonal Stud Hand or Groom. However, this is not the only attribute that I retain – because I have worked in this capacity for such a long time, I possess and demonstrate working knowledge with horses in a wide variety of disciplines and looking to put that to use on a well respected horse farm.

Position: Assistant Barn Manager

Duties: Managing barn staff on weekends, overseeing the care of 23 horses, and two donkeys. Customizing nutritional needs for each horse, keeping current on vaccines and coggins, sending boarders reminders of farrier appointments and deworming schedules.

Duties: I worked alongside the barn manager at an established dressage farm that specialized in Andalusians and PRE’s. Duties included; braiding, grooming, tacking up, leg wraps and cooling out. Daily care of six horses, one pony, and two minis, with feeding, stalls administration of medications, and daily observations, as well as holding for the vet, and farrier.

Duties: Assessing body mechanics in people for treatment plans in therapeutic massage. Listening to clients’ specific needs for either injuries they are recovering from, or present muscle pain.
