I have spent most years of my life around horses. I started riding lessons at the age of 6 and have never stopped. I have worked on different yards as a stable hand and barn manager, in both Scotland and America. I have dealt with mares, geldings, stallions, brood mares and foals.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example:Â working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I enjoy working as part of a team but will work alone as well. I can plant horses both showing and hunters equitation style.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I have always loved horses from a young age and just being around them fills me with so much happiness and pleasure. I love getting to know different horses and their personalities as every horse is different.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to improve many aspects within the equestrian world that I haven’t been given the opportunity to do like that of clipping.

I am a very hard working individual and always take pride in what I do.
