Experience with Horses
I am efficient and reliable with over 20yrs equine experience including riding schools, hunt, race and competition yards. I am 5’2”, a quiet but confident rider who is happy to sit on anything from 13hh to 16hh
I am happy to do all the typical yard duties plus lunging/hacking/schooling etc. I am also happy to clip/plait, lead out your children or accompany them to events/hunting and even to walk your dog ! Ideally I am looking for a small friendly yard where I will get a fair bit of riding as well as yard duties.
I am also available for adhoc exercising of your horse
Key Skills
I work in events and am thus highly organised, self motivated and reliable. Horse wise, I prefer to work in small, friendly, private yards though I also have experience of Hunt, Race, Polo and Competition Yards as well as Riding Schools
I can clip, plait, lunge, school, lead out and exercise as required, plus all usual yard duties
I have a full UK license with 15 years NCB and am qualified and experienced at towing
I am a qualified first aider and fire marshall
I am farm raised and also rescued dogs for years so happy to walk/feed your pooch and other livestock
Requirements
I am currently based between Swindon and Cirencester on the Glos/Wilts border. I work freelance in events during the evenings but am seeking long term, part-time groom hours locally in addition to my events work. I am happy to work Mon to Fri (plus either Sat or Sun if required) and am ideally looking for around 4 hours work a day (e.g 7am or 8am to 11am/midday)
I would like my role to include a fair amount of riding as well as yard duties please
