Experience with Horses
I have owned horses my whole life. In 2015 I went toBrackenhurst College which is a part of Nottingham Trent University to study horse management. Here I was chosen to be in the top practical group as well as being chosen to be in the riders Academy which is the five top ability students from the college and uni courses to receive extra Extra lessons weekly. From this I went to work on a horse yard where I was chosen to be taught to drive the horse and carriage. Here I was regularly left alone on the yard and in-charge as well as this I handled foals, yearlings brood mares and competition horses. The past four years with my own horse I qualified for the Pony club National Championships four times for eventing, once for dressage and once for show jumping. I have now bought myself a just backed four-year-old to hopefully bring on and event next year. I currently have a full-time job away from horses however I go and help a dressage rider on the yard in my spare time and ride one of the shop ponies for her livery.
