Experience with Horses
I have a lot of experience with young horses, I have been riding since the age of four. I competed ponies and horses until 2017, unfortunately had to stop due to school. I have worked on many yards, mainly showjumping as well as helping in riding schools. I’ve schooled and sold on many horses with my old trainer bringing them to shows around Ireland. I with breaking also. I’ve also worked on raving yards such as Jessica Harrington’s hard in 2016. I’m currently studying to complete my BHS exams.
Key Skills
I’m a very hard working and don’t mind mocking out, feeding ect. I am an efficient worker and will get things done. My strengths in terms of risking would be showjumping and flat, but I’m keen to learn more! I can clip, do turning out and all the basics too.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• I’ve always lived all animals and just as a child found myself up with the horses almost everyday. I love how rewarding it can be.
• I would like to always improve my riding! In the last year I haven’t been riding as much as I’d like to as I was attending law school. I’m currently not enrolled there anymore
• I hope to be considered by employer as I’m a hard worker and very enthusiastic. I’m fully open to learning more and more and consider myself as a team player!
Requirements
• I would like to gain experience within the horse industry as well as an opportunity to meet new people
• Live in accommodation would be ideal, I’m currently in the process of getting driving license as it was all put on hold due to the recent coronavirus
• I have no particular requirements on what type of animal I’d work with as I’d work with any! (I’d need some more experience with stallions) as most horses I’ve schooled were geldings/ mares with an occasional stallion
• I currently have no ongoing commitments other than completing my BHS exams
• No holidays booked
