Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Laura Lynch, I’m 27 years old and from the UK. I have spent the last 6 months in the United States, where I have been studying, traveling and working as a horse trainer and trail guide. I will return to Frankfurt at the end of January 2023, where I have lived for the past 2 years, prior to leaving for the US. I have worked professionally as a Horse Groom for the past 4 years (and as a hobby for the past 17 years) and endeavour to progress in the Equine Industry.
My last 2 years in Germany were spent being the personal Groom for Anna Nolte, Grand Prix Dressage rider (Hofgut Rosenau) in Frankfurt, Germany. In this role I was frequently left solely in charge of the stables and horses. My role there included preparing horses for Training, Competitions and assisting the Farrier and Vet with their visits. The day to day running of the facility, health and welfare of the high-Level Performance Sport horses were also under my jurisdiction, along with working effectively within my team. I have experience working with the German National Dressage team and high level performance horses, from Melbourne Cup Winners to Olympic standard. I am very discreet after working with a number of HNW clients and families.
My professional experience includes rehabilitation work, administering medical treatments, laser therapy, thermal spa, water treadmill, handling of stallions and young horses, assisting in training, clinic visits, transportation of horses, Equine first aid as well as daily horse management.
I also have a background as a Business Developer and Key Account Manager, I can provide details of this upon request.

– Saddling/tacking horses with both jumping, dressage, western saddles and Racing pads
-Preparing horses for competitions (and preparing equipment, tack and horse transporter)
-Rehabilitation and usage of the Aquatrainer and Spa facilities
-Managing Nutrition plans and specialist dietary requirements
-Washing and Grooming horses for departure, client visits and trainer video updates
-Moving horses on and off trucks and allocating stables
-Moving horses on and off the walker, to different parts of the property
-Assisting Farriers and Veterinarians (X-Rays, Castrations, Injuries, Lancing Hemotomas, Stitches, Injections, Abscesses)
-Recognising and dealing with Colic
-Rehabilitation treatments (eg, icing, Massagin Horse Rug and Vibration Wraps)
-Laser Therapy
-Updating and administering Medical Plans
-Supervising horses on the treadmill
-Assisting riders
-Wrapping injuries
-Basic duties such as rugging, feed runs, cleaning stables, making feeds and assisting with the day to day running of the property.
