Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
- Training client’s bold young horse by encouraging him to follow specific riding commands and correcting behavioural issues. Helped prepare the horse for sale
- Training a rescue horse that paces and providing exercises for the customer and nutritional advice
- Providing regular lessons to a young novice rider
- Managed a livery yard Dovetshill while owner was away over seas competing.
- Trained a horse for Alex Brewster for sale
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I feel that I am good with training horses that are quite green still and have behaviourally problems. Being on a livery yard where a lot of the time green riders buy green horses and they needed help with the majority of thing to do with their horses.
