Job Description

We are currently looking for 2 people to join our team. We are both professional Australian Event riders. We currently have a team of 30 horses at the yard and a very friendly hard working group of people that work here already. We are looking for people that would like to become part of this team.

JOB 1

The first person we are looking for is someone interested in being a competition groom . This person does not need to have a lot of previous experience as a competition groom but be competent. This job would include skills such as: general yard work (mucking out, tacking up, feeding etc), being able to travel to competitions both throughout UK and abroad, ability to plait and turn horses out well.
This position is for someone highly motivated that is wanting to work at the top end of the sport with both high level and young Event horses. Unfortunately this is not a riding role.
6 day per week job. Weekly wage depending on age and experience.

JOB 2

For this role we are looking for someone that would enjoy working with the horses but have more of a yard role rather than a travelling groom role. Skills for this job would include: Mucking out, feeding, turning horses in and out of fields, general grooming of horses. If they have the ability or knowledge of driving small machinery that would be great.
6 day per week job. Weekly wage depending on age and experience.

We are unfortunately not able to take on people with their own horses as we simply don’t have room.
