Stud Manager (Maternity Cover)
£23,557 per annum

Working as part of the core Equine Resource Unit team, everything you do will strive for excellence. You will be required to support the Equine Resource Manager on our award winning Stud facility, assisting in supporting students and managing the assistant, casual, and apprentice and student workforce at the Stud to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will assist teaching staff by providing practical support to students through general instruction, supervision of routine stud duties and assisting with research projects.
To be selected for this role, you must be an enthusiastic individual with a passion to succeed. It is essential that you have a proven track record in all aspects of stud work including management of breeding horses, foaling and care and handling of young stock; ideally you will hold a relevant degree within equine studies / science or a closely related field. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you hold a driving licence.
Shared accommodation is provided for better performance of duties, and your own horse is also welcome.
