Permanent full-time post (37.5 hours per week) in a friendly busy BHS and ABRS approved riding school. We are hoping to recruit another enthusiastic member to our team. The instructor role will include teaching, general yard duties and schooling of horses. The ideal candidate will hold a teaching and care qualification to BHS stage 2 or equivalent ,have experience and enjoy teaching a range of ages, abilities and disciplines. Knowledge of horse care and stable management is desirable.
Main responsibilities: To ensure to the best of your ability that clients receive an enjoyable experience and that lessons are taught to a high standard are popular and continually well attended. To help ensure high standards of care for equestrian stock and contribute to the smooth running of the yard.. Working hours to include evenings and one weekend day. BHS stage 2 teaching qualification or good sound knowledge and be willing to take relevant exams
Not on site, however we will help with finding suitable accommodation for any one who is relocating. Our Riding Centre is city based and located close to lots of clean, comfortable and affordable local accommodation.
2-3 weekly training sessions will be provided towards further exams
