Assistant Stable Yard Manager- Maternity Cover from August 2019.
The Equine department are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and skilled Assistant Stable Yard Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. Duties will include managing the wellbeing of all horses alongside the Yard Manager, including training and schooling plans for individual horses as well as assisting instructors and lecturers with equipment and supporting and supervising students during stable tasks/duties. Weekend work will be required on a rota basis.
The successful candidate must hold their BHSAI plus BHS Stage 4 Riding or be able to demonstrate riding to this level. Experience of working in a large commercial yard is essential. Salary: £16,960 – £20,657 per annum, pro rata relating to qualifications and experience.
