Job Description
Live in – own en suite room but shared living room/kitchen/rest of house.
Live as part of the family with accommodation and food provided.
Car provided inc fuel
Car driver essential.
North oxfordshire/south northants Border
Au Pair (Uk national or EU with UK pre settlement status), Person Friday/Home yard & animals role.
4 horses/ponies, 4 dogs, chicken, sheep to care for all on family property
feed horses/turn out/bring in/muck out
Feed and exercise dogs
take 15 year old to and from school
Make sure dogs are let out and have exercise during the day at regular intervals
Feed/water/clean chickens
If rider and can hack out that’s an advantage
Yard duties
– poo pick fields
– clean tack
– keep yard clean/tidy – take rugs to be cleaned/do washing
– Order feeds as needed
– Lunge horses
– attend when vet/farrier/dentist/physio come
– able to drive 3.5t an advantage
Help with riding when mum is not available
Keep kitchen area of house clean/tidy
Approx. 30 – 35 hours a week (6-7 per day but that will vary by day and we need flexibility)
Minimum Requirements
Experience with horses and yard duties
Positive attitude and willingness to live as part of the family really important.
