Sole charge year-round position. Groom/Rider required soonest for a keen Hunting family. You should be capable of working as part of a small, cheery team as well as sole charge.

The employer used to be Master of the Quorn but now he and his wife (and sometimes grown-up family), hunt only for recreation with various packs.

This is a year-round position with more maintenance duties etc in the summer. House sitting will be a key feature of the role for family dogs (x3 an old beloved deer hound/2 x glen of Imaal young dogs

Would suit a  cheery, proactive, and organised person. Must be able to clip and turnout. Other relevant backgrounds considered eg: Eventing/SJ/pointing/NH etc.

If you do not have a 7.5t license, this could be facilitated by the family.

Exercise riding is required and ideally someone keen to jump/hunt is a real bonus. The horses are well behaved generally but when fit can be quirky & sharp so need to a kind, competent and confident rider.

Facilities include Horse walker/great hacking/indoor barn stables/wash box/heated tack room. Employer hire gallops and school as/when.
