Job Description

Full time (5 days), live-in, sole charge groom required at a small eventing and breeding yard in a beautiful location in Leicestershire. You will be working primarily with competition horses from 4 years to 4* but also opportunities to help with the brood mares and young stock. All normal yard duties and regular competition grooming. Ability to hack out would be helpful but not essential.

Minimum Requirements

An enthusiastic and cheerful approach with a good work ethic and a genuine love of horses.

Turn out horses to a high standard.

Proficient at clipping, plaiting and trimming

Super, modern one bedroom flat with open plan kitchen/diner. Bathroom with bath and shower.  Beautiful views.

 

Benefits

Able to bring one horse – large pen/stable plus grazing but with an understanding that we are a busy competition yard so we are often away at the weekends.
