Experience with Horses
-15 year’s experience of riding,
-Training horses to medium so far and young horses from scratch
-I have been part of main staff on a dressage yard with a very strict regime and extremely highly strung youngsters
-Had sole responsibility of a section of horses on a reputable eventing yard
-I don’t advertise services however recommendations are very common and is usually the way I begin helping with a quirky/young/green horse
-BYRDS A Squad
-Pass Level 2 Equine Groom and Halfway through Level 3
-I have trained with multiple grandprix riders and judges
-Competed at Youth Inter-Regionals for A Squad and Home international for England
-Currently run a small livery yard through my apprenticeship in Chorley with sole responsibility for the welfare, training, maintenance of all aspects of the yard.
– I currently ride 4-5 horses per day ranging from 13hh to 17.2hh and ages from 5-12.
Key Skills
The skills I am very competent and confident at are: handling young horses, handling big competition horses, riding youngsters, working alone, plaiting up, clipping, safely turning out and bringing in, working in a team, training horses in a way that is best for their mental state but also effective, riding very sharp horses, following instructions, being creative and having great initiative.

I would love to move up the levels alongside a successful dressage rider and be able to fulfill my dreams with horses.
I should be a priority candidate due to my unique amount of knowledge/experience for my age and height. Within my region I am constantly known for my ambition and attention to detail through all aspects. I am undoubtedly confident I can make any yard run as smoothly as possible as well as the training/welfare of the horses be noticeably improved.
Requirements
From my next job I would like to gain knowledge on higher level dressage training, opportunities to compete and train with credible professionals, gain respect and invaluable friendships in this industry.

The horse I would like to bring is very low maintenance so would fit in on any yard.
• Do you have any ongoing commitments?
I currently have an apprenticeship but I finish later on in the year but would consider moving early if employer happy for me to do my exams under them.
• Do you have any holidays booked that an employer needs to know of?
2 weeks in July from 2nd-16th and 16th august to 19th august.
