Experience with Horses
I have been around horses since I was a child and have owned several of my own. I worked on a riding school for several years and a competitive livery yard last year. I’m looking for a job as a junior groom.
Key Skills
I’m good at working in a team and following instruction as well as working on my own initiative. I turn out to a high standard and keep a tidy yard, muck out quickly etc. I have also handled (and ridden) many different types of horses including young, green and tricky horses.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I am not a clock watcher, I really love to be around the horses and will always put their needs first.
I would like to improve my plaiting skills and learn to clip.
Requirements
- I would really like to train for BHS exams, but not necessary
- I do need accommodation
