Experience with Horses
I am 18 and currently living on the Isle of Wight. I have several years experience with various horses and I’m ready to return to working with horses after a short period of time off following putting my pony out on a long term loan. I have a basic equine first aid certificate and I am now ready to work in an environment where I can further my knowledge in a supportive environment.
I’ve been riding since I was 5 and have owned a variety of horses including projects I have broken in myself and they are now in wonderful homes being ridden by young riders. My first project I bought after having watched him be mistreated I knew I had to help him, sadly after all the mistreating he was practically feral and had absolutely no trust but after a lot of hard work and patience he was competing at low level competitions excelling in cross country and now ridden by a 11 year old who is continuing the competing and even eventing him Now. I’ve ridden ex racehorses, blood horses and ponies. I can’t say ive competed to any high level as I haven’t really had a chance on the Isle of Wight but I am super willing to learn and have many people that will support that and who have seen my love for horses and the sport. I would really like to branch out and get knew knowledge and hopefully have the chance to improve my riding .
