Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

Horses have been and always will be my passion, whenever I’m around them I feel content and at peace. They are such pure animals that keep us humble whenever we interact with them, I think that’s what I enjoy the most about working with horses. They give so much back if treated right. Ever since I can remember, horses have been a part of my life and I have finally realised I want to keep pursuing this passion professionally.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I would like to improve my understanding of the professional equestrian world, how to maintain and train competition horses, how to best care for them and become more intuitive when around them. Improving knowledge and skills both in theory and practice. I would like to keep on riding and becoming better, and more confident in the saddle too.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

Although I might not have the professional experience working in a competition/show environment or on a yard which focuses on competing, I believe I have what it takes to take it to the next level with everything that I do know and have learned so far. With the right guidance and mentor, I will become a great addition to any stable/yard for many years to come and will find it rewarding to be a part of a team with the same passion at heart.
