Equine Experience & Skills
I am currently studying Equine Science at Hartpury University and am looking for equine work from January to March 2027. I am particularly interested in gaining further hands-on experience within a professional yard environment and am happy to get stuck into all aspects of yard work.
Experience with Horses
- I grew up in a Pony Club household and have achieved my Pony Club B Test and Lunge Test.
- I have competed up to BE100 and have experience competing as part of school equestrian teams, including attending NSEA Championships.
- I have attended Pony Club Championships, competing in PC90 Eventing and Intermediate Dressage.
- I have worked on a stud, gaining experience handling and caring for stallions, mares and foals.
- I have worked on polo yards in both New Zealand and Australia, giving me experience of different yard environments and routines.
- I have worked as a Junior Groom on a professional eventing yard, where my responsibilities included hacking fit competition horses, schooling, lunging and general yard duties.
- I am confident handling horses and am comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

- I am good with children and regularly help my younger cousin with her pony.
Availability
I am specifically looking for full-time or seasonal equine work from January to March 2027.
I am based approximately one hour south of Edinburgh. I would ideally be looking for a position that includes accommodation, although I am happy to discuss options depending on the location.
I am enthusiastic, reliable and keen to become part of a busy yard and would be very happy to help with all aspects of horse care and yard work.
