My experience with horses is comprehensive and throughout my career has been heavily focused towards stable management. I have lead yard teams of up to 40+ persons with horse populations under direct management up to 150+ at my second job posting when dealing with a spelling stable as well as high volumes of newly imported and ready to export horses, also adding valuable biosecurity insights. In my most recent role, I lead a team of about 25 yard crew at Singapore’s premier riding school where we assisted in organizing and running of home and away shows (dressage and showjumping at National and International FEI standards), livery and school horse care including daily paddock turnouts, preparing horses for owners, and everything else expected at a world class riding center which earned highly commended status by the BHS (British Horse Society) upon inspection during my tenure as a Livery Stable and Riding Centre. My own horse handling skills and behavioral knowledge has been commended many times in the past where I will lead yard crew by example from bandaging and ailment care, medication administration and loading horses on and off floats safely for shows, as well as lending my capable hands where and when possible while not busy with communications to various teams such as yard, riding instructors, vets, farrier, admin, estate, VIP’s and members of the public.

Being in the stable and equestrian environment makes me happy, as well as seeing team members and stakeholders develop and avhieve their goals.

I’d like to continue improving leadership skills to better serve subordinates and in turn the organization.

I’m one of the hardest working, reliable, responsive, and responsible stable managers I have come across in the industry internationally based on feedback received from clients, superiors, team members and industry players (vets, farriers, riders, owners). In my most recent role with the assistance of the yard team we double the livery horse population through the outstanding world class delivery and execution of our stable operations which spoke for itself and attracted some HNWI’s in Singapore to move their horses to our stable from others, and after this we did a 30% mark up on livery fees and continued to grow and maintain existing liveries successfully which I give massive credit to the yard team whom I lead that executed the heavy lifting to ensure we were an exemplary livery yard and riding school nationally.
