Experienced groom and yard supervisor with a strong background working in busy livery yard and riding school environments. Confident in all aspects of daily horse care, including but not limited to, feeding, mucking out, turnout, health monitoring, grooming, tack care, and maintaining high standards of yard organisation and cleanliness. Alongside practical horse care, I have experience supporting the day-to-day running of a yard, coordinating routines and tasks, and liaising with vets, farriers, and other professionals to maintain horse welfare.
I am looking for a professional, welfare-focused yard where I can contribute my experience, reliability, and strong organisational skills within a positive and supportive environment. Ideally a private, livery or lifestyle yard, and potentially a working couple position, with the second role being estate maintenance and occasional housekeeping. I have experience assisting with the management of a large-scale full livery yard and riding school, so I am comfortable working in both large-scale, and smaller private environments. I also have a strong interest in the breeding and stud side of the industry. While my experience is currently knowledge-based rather than hands-on, including study around broodmare management, foal watch and foaling, I am very keen to develop practical experience in this area and would welcome opportunities to learn. I am happy with roles that do not require schooling, though I would enjoy the opportunity to hack where possible and/or potentially bring my own horse with me.
