- Experience with Horses
I’ve been ridding horses since the age of four, I started my ridden education at a riding school and when I got to the age of eight I got my first pony who was a Welsh section b who really taught me how to ride and I’ve had horses ever since. From 15 I’ve worked at a riding school, learning many techniques for instance; grooming, plaiting, mucking out, how to spot illness and teaching techniques and for the past few years I’ve taught multiple people how to ride to the point of being able to jump.
Key Skills
I am particularly good at working alone, general yard maintenance,spotting illness , quick thinking, working with all types of people and horses from young to stallions etc, I’m a confident rider who’s ridden all kinds of horses with all kinds of quirks.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• I most enjoy working with horses because they have always been a big part of my life and I believe in helping them how ever I can.
• In the future I would like to add to my experience with foals, as although I have some experience I would love the opportunity for more.
• I currently have my full driving license and have driven almost everything tractors, quad bikes etc I’m very quick to learn and am a great listener.
