Experience with Horses

I started riding at the age of 8 at a local riding school and fell in love with the equine world from there! I shared and loaned many ponies and worked at weekends at the livery yard whilst I was still at school. I gained lots of experience from this, after leaving school I then when to Capel manor equestrian college and studied for my National diploma in horse management. I owned my own horse then also who I backed and brought into work myself. I show jumped with her and did a little dressage and some cross country too.

I then worked full time at Ada Rescue stables which was a very busy working yard open to the public also. We worked hard with rehabilitation to get as many of the animals rehomed which was really rewarding.

I achieved my BHS exams along with riding and road safety certificate also.

I worked at a riding school after this assisting with lessons, pony club games, gymkhana and many pony day activities along side the running of the school and booking lessons  and administration duties.

I am looking for equine riding work but am also happy to assist in the administration side also.

I took a break to have a family but my sons 4th birthday present was a Shetland pony!

I now just ride for pleasure along side my job with the ambulance service, but with my family all grown up and independent I now have the opportunity to get back into the equine world that I dearly love full time and I would love the opportunity to work abroad with horses.
