I have a Masters Degrees in Diplomacy and Global Governance from Belgium, a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Switzerland and Associate Degree in Political Science from the USA . I have experience working and living from seven different countries. I have worked as a rider and groom in all kinds of disciplines. In the USA I worked with polo horses, while Australia and England introduced me to horse racing. As a junior rider I competed with Icelandic horses in Iceland while Finland, Spain and Belgium had me working with show jumpers and dressage horses. Working in many disciplines has taught me alot about the horse industry and introduced me to many different ways of horses training. All the knowlwdge that I have gained along the way has made me the rider I am today.
My short term goals are to work for a team that values my skills and gain even more international experience while working with horses. While my long term goals are to create my own internationally focused equestrian business as well as a career in diplomacy.
What comes to my qualities is that I am a very ambitious individual who has a big passion for horses. Horses and animals have always been big part of my life and I have accepted the lifestyle of an equestrian at very young age. I am a fast learner with good horsemanship skills. I believe in natural horsemanship, especially when working with “problem” horses. I am a good team worker and horses’ well-being comes first for me. I have self discipline and I’m used to hard work. My qualities as a rider are my softness, calmness, courage and experience with young and sensitive horses. My trainers have always thanked me for my soft riding and the ability to gain horses’ trust. I am used to riding and handling difficult horses.
I speak Finnish, Swedish, English and Spanish and I have a BE drivers license.
