Experience with Horses
Been around horses my whole life and started working as a groom after leaving school at 16, working for a professional dressage rider. On my own horse I have experience in eventing and showjumping, as well as reworking for the family business riding breakers and schooling liveries
Key Skills
I am very good at handling and managing fresh competition horses as well as platting and turning horses out to a high level. I am a very organised and efficient workers who likes to get the job done.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I get the most enjoyment out of working with young horses and the fulfilment of watching then go on and succeed.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to improve my stable management knowledge as I am currently working towards my pony club AH exam and A test.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I have experience in many areas of equestrian sport and can use that knowledge to benefit me. I am very passionate about equestrian sport and foster a no stone left unturned view.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would love to gain more experience and a higher level of knowledge around the sport. An opportunity to ride would be great to improve my riding too.
