Experience with Horses

I have been riding horses since before I could walk. My mom had owned 26 horses (POA-Pony of the Americas, appaloosas, and quarter horses) at the time I was born essentially growing up living and breathing horses. Most of the horses I had rode until I was eight years old were under the age of five years old. After, I was able to get my true first “broke” horse that could go all the way and do anything I asked. Although I was bored and wanted to work with younger horses. This brings us to my first solo training experience. A two-year-old lunge liner and in-hand-trail prospect, she went to POA Congress, and we placed eighth in lunge line out of 30+ ponies. This is really when I got the itch to train young horses and work with “problem” ones. From there I began training my own horses and a few years later (yes that means I would be 12 years old) working client’s horses.

This same year (2012) I began taking lessons with Wood Show Horses where I eventually worked in 2016. I started out as a stall cleaner, and I worked my way to training and competing with some of the best horses in the industry (stock). And to have a record of my wins, losses, and everything in between would take hours.

I have attended college where I completed my undergraduate of International Business and my minor in Economics. Currently I am studying abroad in Spain until April 25.
