- Experience with Horses
I have been employed as a groom/rider on livery and competition yards, I was employed as a coach at two riding schools and I’ve also spent time freelance either as a coach, groom or rider. I have owned and competed my own horses for 11 years in all three disciplines at first and then focusing on show jumping since I was 16. I have competed my last two horses up to 1m05 and trained at 1m30 at home. I’ve also trained up to psg level dressage although not competitively.

I would say my past experiences have made me competent working alone, working with others, coaching, clipping, trimming, plaiting, schooling/exercising, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, lunging/long reining.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Show jumping has always been my dream but I also love training younger horses and in my coaching I love helping people reach their goals and improve.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would like to keep gaining experience generally developing new techniques and skills whether it be riding, coaching or general horse care.
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I am ideally seeking a coaching role, teaching a variety of abilities and ages. And preferably to include some riding for myself as well.
