I am seeking a non yard based job/groom role – here is an outline of my experience and attributes.
With over 21 years of experience in recruitment and business ownership, I bring a wealth of transferable skills to the equestrian industry. My career has been defined by driving business growth, building strong relationships, and achieving consistent results. As a results-driven leader, I excel in strategic networking, proactive market engagement, and managing complex projects, all of which are directly applicable to the dynamic environment of the equestrian world.
My professional journey has honed my abilities in:
- Relationship Building & Communication: Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders is a cornerstone of my career. This skill is vital for building connections within the equestrian community, whether with clients, suppliers, or team members.
- Project Management & Organization: Managing high-volume recruitment, overseeing business operations, and leading teams has equipped me with exceptional organizational and project management skills. This translates to efficient handling of tasks, events, and logistics within an equestrian setting.
- Strategic Planning & Problem Solving: My experience in driving business growth and navigating challenging market conditions demonstrates my ability to strategize and solve problems effectively. This is crucial for optimizing operations and achieving goals in any equestrian role.
- Marketing & Brand Development: My expertise in social media marketing and brand development, honed through business ownership and global recruitment, can be leveraged to promote equestrian businesses, events, or services.
- Sales & Negotiation: My background in advertising sales and recruitment has developed strong negotiation and sales skills, essential for securing sponsorships, managing client relationships, or promoting equestrian products and services.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Leading and developing teams of up to 15 recruiters demonstrates my ability to foster a collaborative and productive environment, a valuable asset in any team-oriented equestrian role.
- Event organisation and fundraising: My experience in creating a charity calendar that sold over 1000 copies in a few days, and continues to produce thousands of pounds in revenue, shows that I have the ability to organise, and run successful events and fundraising projects.
Beyond my professional experience, I have a lifelong passion for horses. I have been around horses since the age of 10 and currently own a Belgian Warmblood. This personal connection fuels my enthusiasm for contributing to the equestrian community. I am eager to apply my skills and dedication to a role where I can combine my professional expertise with my love for horses.
My charitable work with animal welfare demonstrates my commitment to ethical practices and the well-being of animals. I am a dedicated and reliable individual who is looking for a new challenge within the equestrian industry, where my skills and passion can be combined.
