Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
What I enjoy most is the deep, intuitive connection that develops between horse and human. Every horse has its own personality, and being able to understand, guide, and bring out the best in each one is incredibly rewarding. I also love helping riders—whether beginners or advanced—build confidence, refine their skills, and achieve their goals. Watching that partnership grow and knowing I played a part in it is what keeps me passionate every day.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
Absolutely. While I’m confident in my ability to manage horses and riders effectively, I’m always looking to expand my knowledge in equine biomechanics and rider psychology. These areas are constantly evolving, and staying current allows me to offer the most informed, holistic support possible. I also enjoy refining my teaching techniques to better adapt to different learning styles, ensuring every rider feels understood and empowered.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
With nearly two decades of hands-on equestrian experience, I bring a rare combination of technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and organizational precision. I’ve worked with a wide range of horses and riders, from nervous novices to competitive athletes, and I tailor my approach to suit each unique situation. My communication is clear, calm, and constructive—whether I’m coordinating a busy yard, managing a training schedule, or mentoring a rider through a challenge.
What sets me apart even further is my background in the corporate world. That experience has sharpened my professionalism, time management, and strategic thinking. I understand how to run operations efficiently, communicate across diverse teams, and maintain high standards under pressure. It’s given me a broader perspective and a level of polish that enhances everything I do in the equestrian space—from client relations to business development and beyond.
