Experience with Horses
I have worked with horses in a variety of environments, including on Livery yards and Riding schools. I have done this on both employed and a volunteering basis. Aswell as my experience with horses, I have excellent people skills and am a quick learner.
Key Skills
I have experience handling and riding young/green/difficult horses, this includes breaking/backing. As well as experience coaching. All of which are things I enjoy. I work well alone as well as part of a team and am also able to tow a trailer.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I love that every day is different and the accomplishment of overcoming both small and big hurdles.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’m always looking to expand my knowledge and understanding of horses, whether that be when riding or on the ground. Specifically I would like to improve my competition turnout out skills including Clipping and Plaiting.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I’m dedicated and hardworking and have been around horses all of my life.
