Experience with Horses

with years of equine care and handling. I have developed a strong skill set with horses. my background includes working at a racing yard where I honed my knowledge of horse  management, even though I didn’t ride there. as a polo groom I gained hands-on experience riding and leading multiple horses in walk trot and canter, showcasing my abilities to manage various equine personalities simultaneously. additionally as a lifelong rider and owner of my own horse, I have cultivated a deep understanding of equine behaviour, riding techniques and care, which further enhances my capability ti work effectively with horses

Key Skills

I’m am good at working alone or in groups, I worked alone as a polo  groom in which I handled 6-7 horses at once. I have experience with riding and handling young and green horses. I have experience with bucking/ rearing horses. im good at handling multiple at once. I work well in stressful and chaotic situations as well as calm and peaceful ones.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I enjoy the thrill of riding and understanding the horses and the feeling of success when there is finally a breakthrough with a horse, I find being around horses and riding incredibly therapeutic and stress relieving, however within excessively long  stressful situations I find myself becoming over stimulated and over whelmed especially when in charge of multiple horses and working alone.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

always room for improvement when it comes to riding, I enjoy constantly trying to improve every possibly aspect I can when it comes to riding and being the best I can be.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?

im able to present myself to a high standard as well as working efficiently and effectively in all environments, I cab do all jobs of riding and basic yard duties to even helping at comps/ outings if needed.

Requirements

• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?

experience, in my opinion experience makes you a better rider, with handling different types of horses and adapting your riding to their needs makes you stronger and more capable of improving in all aspects of riding. I would also like to gain a community, a positive workspace is important, working amongst people that are respectful and kind is very important. working in an unhappy environment with horses never ends well.
