Experience with Horses
I have worked with horses for the past 6 years but have owned my own for the past 12. I have worked on a numerous of yard, and have learnt lots over the years. From breeding, handling young stock and breeding stallions to help run a lovely dressage yard. I have experience in working alone and as well as part of a team.
Key Skills
I would say my key skills are working efficiently and being able to adapt to my environment. I am more than happy and capable of working alone or as part of a team and taking charge when needed. As said previously I have handled many different horses and would say handling and making sure horses are turned out to their best standard and my strong points.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What I enjoy most about working with horses are the fact that they are so willing to learn and teach no matter the situation
• I would love to improve more on my ridden work have been out the saddle for the past 2 years and just would like to get fully back into ridding again
• Why I think an employer should choose me over another candidate is that I’m wanting to expand and learn as much as possible and am very willing to get stuck in more than others
