Experience with Horses
I started riding at 4years old and over the years have progressed to competing in showing, showjumping and working hunter. I can confidently jump 1.15m courses and have experience jumping at this level. I have experience working on an international showjumping yard as yard manager handling broodmares, foals, youngsters, stallions and competition horses. I have a good eye from catching small cuts to knowing when a horses is un well based on its symptoms and behaviour shown. I have recently had to take care of a horse who had pneumonia which I have gained the knowledge of injecting medication through the muscle and the vein. I have also had to manage colic and strangles.

Strengths and Weaknesses
• I enjoy how rewarding it is to take care of horses and then have the opportunity to watch the youngsters start from the beginning.
• I would like to improve my knowledge as being a competition groom as I have mainly been home based.
• employers should consider me over other candidates as I take great pride in my work and always put 100% into my job. I am used to being a live in groom on the clock 24/7 to meet the horses needs from sick horses to foaling.
