I love horses and have been riding since the age of three. I always planned to make horses my career, hence why I studied Vet Nursing. I have done some light work for both the riding centre in Hout bay and SJ Equestrian both of which are big riding schools in Cape Town. I ended up doing some waitressing afterwards to gain more work experience and to fund my studies. I would ideally like to work in a small yard first to improve my skills and knowledge but I have no problem adapting to a bigger yard if need be…

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I really love giving horses TLC! I tried to study equine therapy in my free time. I’m most comfortable with hacking horses and basic schooling on the flat. I can teach young kids. I’ve been told I’m good with the young, both horse and human.

I am very dedicated and hard working I have a lot of experience with 12 hour days! I learn fast and don’t mind doing work others dislike.
