Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I’ve always loved horses, and at 19 I started working in a racing yard. From that moment, I became more and more passionate about the racing world. Over time, I took on greater responsibilities and consistently improved my skills in Italy.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I work well both independently and as part of a team. In the yard, I was mainly responsible for taking horses to the races and exercising them at the track. I also handled stallions and young horses regularly, always with care and confidence.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Simply the horses themselves. Being around them makes me feel good, it never feels like hard work to me.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I’d like to further develop my riding skills. I’m not a beginner, but I’d like to reach a higher level of experience.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
Even though I’ve studied Economics and Finance and could work in that field, my real passion is horses. I’m fully committed, reliable, and motivated to keep learning and growing in the equine industry.
