Experience with Horses

Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.

I am 20 years old and I have been grooming at a polo club for the last 2 years as well as grooming for show jumpers/ racing yard and a riding school, I am looking for an equine job office or hands on I’m flexible, I have been riding for the past 16 years and I am happy to take everything in my stride and learn as I can to improve my knowledge.

Key Skills

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc

I am good at working independently and with a team, I can think outside of the box and plan what I need to do without assistance when needed, I can clip, plait up, tack up, ride and handle any horse and I love to keep things clean and tidy.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I have a massive passion for horses and I enjoy caring for them and being around them as it gives me a sense of pride to know that they are being looked at at the best of their ability.

• Is there anything you’d like to improve?

I would like to improve on my confidence when riding as I have lost that a bit.

• Why should employers consider you above any other job?

Employers should consider me above other candidates because I bring a unique combination of skills, attitude, and accountability. I’m highly adaptable, quick to learn, and committed to delivering quality results. I take initiative, communicate clearly, and work well both independently and as part of a team. More importantly, I’m not just looking for a job—I’m looking for an opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
