Over 20 years experience of riding, competing, training and caring for horses.
Over 3 years experience in running my own yard.
Trained my current horse from BEgo to 5* with wins at 4* & Advanced.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
Clipping, working alone and being proactive in keeping busy and finding jobs to do to maintain high standards.
Riding, training, groundwork, polework with lunging & longreining.
Planning schedules,
establishing what is required for the horse to peak at a certain competition and working backwards to coordinate training and vets, physios etc to achieve this.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
Seeing the day to day training and small lessons take effect with the big wins or achievements in the long term.
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
More experience and understanding of different horses’ schedules, fitness planning, accommodating injuries etc
