I spent over 4 years in the kings troop royal horse artillery learning from the start the basics such as mucking out and yard work then learning how to ride to eventually riding on parades for the regiments to also going to Melton to train my remount to get him in to the troop which he passed i also took a horse care and Management course which i gained a NVQ lvl 2 in horse care and management

What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
My skills i would say i gained from the kings troop , is working alone such as getting my horse ready for a ride but also good at working in a team such as riding in detachments and gun teams I have experience in clipping horses as i had to pass that for my NVQ lvl 2, I would say i have good turnout of hurses as i would have to pass inspections of myself and my horse and kit before i could go on a parade ,i would say i am also good at handling younger horses as I trained my remounts

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
I most enjoy getting the sense of achievement when you do certain jobs/training etc and you can see the work that you put in
• Is there anything you’d like to improve?
I would personally like to improve more in to the equine industry since leaving the military i have wanted to get in to the horse industry and improve my knowledge/career

I would say because I have a willing to learn to be a part of a team and I would like to say i would bring a happy and helpful energy to the team
