I love being around horses, riding, grooming and general care. I have a 13 year old Irish Draft X mare, and enjoy hacking, arena work, and a little Xc too. I would love to gain more experience and develop my knowledge of the Equine industry. Currently taking driving lessons.

If living on site it would be ideal to be able to bring my horse too, but understand this may not be possible.

Just my horse really.

We have a family holiday in August 2026 and a family wedding in Italy late August/ early September 2027.

I love being around horses, riding, grooming and general care. I have a 13 year old Irish Draft X mare for three years and enjoy hacking, arena work, and a little Xc too. Before getting my horse I had riding lessons for about 3 years and sometimes would help tack / untack ponies and turnout, plus other general duties. I have helped with other people’s horses at livery yards and been trusted to care for horses during periods where owners have been on holiday. I would love to gain more experience and develop my knowledge of the Equine industry. I have done work experience with Bruce Thorpely Stud … a wide range of duties including exercising high value horses ( 1x per week for approx 12 months and also with Olympic eventer Andrew Hoy, caring for high value event horses ( feeding/ grooming/ tacking up / exercising and general yard duties. ( approx 1x per week for 6 months) so I have insight into high standards and expectation.

I feel confident working alone but am happy working as part of a cohesive team and learning from others. I have clipped numerous horses / plaited tails and manes for low level dressage. I have generally ridden horses over 10 years old. Handled stallions at Bruce Thorpely Stud. I love the outdoors ( all weathers) and work hard. People say I have a great sense of humour, and don’t give up easily.
