Future Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
For my next job, I would like to gain experience in the management of horses. I would like to deepen my knowledge of the subject and learn more about the technical aspects of managing a stud farm. I would also like to improve my riding skills and build my confidence in jumping.
• Do you need accommodation?
Yes, I need an accomodation.
Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have been riding several times a week since I was seven years old. I usually help out at a riding school, where I have gained experience working with a wide variety of horses and ponies. This ranged from old schoolmasters to young horses being broken. I am experienced in flatwork, showjumping and lounging. I am familiar with all the duties involved in running a stable, such as mucking out, feeding and cleaning tack. I have experience of working with young foals and yearlings, and occasionally with stallions. Since the summer of 2020 as a groom and rider at Scuderia Ippogrifo. I have plenty of experience with summer camps, working with children and ponies. I usually do flatwork and showjumping, but I also know the basics of dressage, cross-country and vaulting. In the summer of 2025, I worked as a working student at Whorridge Farm Stud in England, and accompanied them to several eventing competitions.
Key Skills
What are you particularly good at? For example: working alone, working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses, non-equine skills etc
I specialise in lunging horses, plaiting and riding young or lively horses. I am a very tidy and organised person, which makes me pretty good at anything involving cleaning or tidying up. I am good with children, dogs and all the farm animals. I can help with household management, such as cooking, cleaning and doing the laundry.
Strengths and Weaknesses
• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?
What I enjoy most about working with horses is probably the horses themselves. I love being around them, taking care of them, and the fact that every day is different and I’m always learning something new. I also love meeting new horses and people, and experiencing new things.
• Why should employers consider you above any other job seeker?
I would really like to improve my riding skills and deepen my knowledge of the equine field, especially with regard to equine medicine and the practical aspects of stud management.
