This is an exciting opportunity gain valuable thoroughbred Stud experience by joining a progressive, successful and commercial boutique stud farm breeding both to race and sell at the major European Bloodstock Sales.
Based 7 miles from Newbury, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual with good attention to detail. The role would include all stud duties, including but not limited to handling mares and foals, preparing young horses for the sales, working closely with vets and farriers, yard duties and general stud maintenance.
The successful candidate will be willing and able to work under the Stud Manager and form part of an experienced, friendly and capable small team.
We have placed previous staff who have been in this position for very long periods of time, so this would demonstrate a rewarding and happy environment.
