Experience with Horses

Horse Groom

• Fed and watered animals with appropriate schedules and feeding procedures.

• Ensuring all horses are safe, comfortable and happy. Attention to detail to ensure none of he horses are injured.

• Did facility laundry and cleaned, organised, maintained and disinfected animal quarters, such as pens and stables and equipment, such as saddles and bridles.

• Handling multiple horses, training horses out of rude behaviours and keeping to a time schedule.

 

Racehorse Groom

• Examined and observed animals to detect signs of illness, disease or injury.

• Performed animal grooming duties, such as: washing, brushing, clipping and trimming coats, manes and tails, and cleaning ears and eyes.

i enjoy being around horses, i like that they have their own emotions and personalities, every horse is different and i like to get to know and understand each horse

i have owned horses my whole life, i have experience on different yards. i work well with different people, i get along with everyone and am easy going. i do lots of training with my own horses and think highly of my ground work and my horses manors.
