Experience with Horses
Outline your experience with horses here/the scope of your freelance services. If you’re looking for a non-equine or non- yard-based job please use this space to describe your experience skills/abilities and adapt the questions to suit your line of work.
I have 8 years of experience working with polo horses, responsible for their daily care, conditioning, and overall well-being.
My duties included feeding, mucking out, grooming, tacking up, cooling down after exercise, and maintaining high standards of stable hygiene. I have extensive experience handling fit, high-performance horses safely and confidently.
I also have strong experience caring for injured and recovering horses, including wound cleaning, changing bandages, applying poultices, leg wrapping, and following veterinary instructions. I am confident managing box rest, controlled exercise, and closely monitoring recovery progress.
I am calm, patient, observant, and fully committed to horse welfare. I work well independently and as part of a team, and I take pride in being reliable and detail-oriented.
